My laptop broke

Coloured pencil, fineliners and acrylic paint.

I'm currently in isolation due to catching covid recently 😷 and have been relying heavily on my laptop for my main source of entertainment. Unfortunately on Friday (after struggling for two years without a battery and needing to be plugged in constantly) it died on me. 😭

And that is my main inspiration for this piece. I needed something to do.



In case you were wondering, I'm not ill with covid. I feel fine, the only symptom I had was the loss of my sense of smell 👃 and testing confirmed I was carrying it. I'm now just isolating to prevent passing it on to others. 💗

I had a new laptop arrive yesterday (sorry, I couldn't be without my pc games during isolation) and I'm growing to love it. I hadn't realised how much of a caveman I'd become by relying on my old laptop and programs. 🙈 My new one is touchscreen and came with paint 3d installed which is a game changer for me! Pixel art is so much easier to create and for the first time I have a shot at creating some great digital art pieces. I'm excited!
